If you’re reading this, I suspect that you’ve visited my podcast, blog, or one of my social media channels (I’m everywhere, y’all). You may be wondering exactly what is WhatCherithinks. WhatCherithinks is my personal brand. It is everything Cherith. If you don’t know who Cherith is, read more about me here. In the meantime, here is the speed-dating version of it.
Cherith is
- A wife. I’ve been happily married to my husband for nearly 20 years.
- A mother. I have two teenage children who are my world.
- An educator. I’ve been working in the field of education, in various capacities, for over 15 years.
- A writer. Even though I don’t have tons of publications, I consider myself a writer. Visit my portfolio to learn more about my writing experience.
- A girl who loves life. I’m a firm believer in making lemonade out of the lemons you have. Life is what you make it.
WhatCherithinks originated during the COVID-19-induced quarantine of 2020 after a series of unfortunate events. I had recently lost both my father and my mother a few short months prior and was trying desperately to resist succumbing to grief and depression. During the quarantine, the time I spent with my family served as a temporary band-aid to cover the pain that lingered from loss, but I knew that it would be short-lived. While being with my family certainly makes me very happy, I knew that it was not realistic for me to be surrounded by them (at the rate that the quarantine allowed) for an extended period of time. What was I to do once real-life resumed?
It did not take me long to discover that communicating makes me happy. I love writing, speaking, and interacting with people. What better way for me to do this than blogging, podcasting, and engaging on social media–the three things that make up WhatCherithinks.
WhatCherithinks is a brand that includes a blog, a podcast, and social media channels. These things allow me to communicate about the things that I love most.
Every aspect of WhatCherithinks was carefully planned out from the time of release to the logo design and colors to its layout. It is truly a labor of love and something that I am incredibly proud of and happy to call my own.
