What is the most popular Disney World park?

According to Magic Guides, Magic Kingdom is the most popular Walt Disney World park. That’s no surprise since it’s the home of the iconic Cinderella Castle that’s seen in several Disney advertisements and most likely in every little girl’s dreams.

Though Magic Kingdom is the most popular, it’s also the smallest. You can also find many of the most popular and notable attractions inside this park. The other parks at Walt Disney World are Hollywood Studios, Animal Kingdom and Epcot.

What are my favorite Disney World Orlando attractions?

I have been to Disney over a dozen times and each visit is as magical as the first. It’s really hard to pinpoint my favorite attractions because honestly, I enjoy so many of them. This list captures attractions that are on my must-do list every single time I travel to Walt Disney World Orlando.

Avatar’s Flight of Passage

Where: Animal Kingdom Theme Park

No trip to Walt Disney World is complete without a visit to Pandora, the ancestral home of the Na’vi from James Cameron’s film Avatar. As one of the most exhilarating attractions in Pandora, Flight of Passage is a 3D motion simulation ride and your best chance to fly on the back of a Banshee. Climb atop the winged beast for the adventure of a lifetime as you fly across the majestic landscape of Pandora. You will see beautiful cliffs, flora and fauna, and a secret bioluminescent world.

Space Mountain at Walt Disney World.

Space Mountain

Where: Magic Kingdom Park

If you have never been to Walt Disney World, it is still very likely that you have heard of Space Mountain. The storied ride at Disney World’s Tomorrowland is sure to thrill the entire family. Your rocket will launch into a dark tunnel, but soon after a dazzling light display, quick speed, and incredible sounds will make you feel as though you have actually taken off on a space flight. The ride truly lives up to its reputation.

NOTE: Space Mountain is closing forever in January 2023.

Epcott at Walt Disney World.

Test Track

Where: Epcot

How many people can say they’ve gone from concept car designer to crash test dummy in minutes? Put the pedal to the metal at Test Track, a wild ride in Future World at Disney’s Epcot. Design your own concept car and then take a spin in a 6-seater vehicle as you go through the testing check-list. Brake test? Check. Speed test? Whoa, check. You’ll reach 65 mph going through an obstacle course of fun and excitement.

Expedition Everest

 Where: Animal Kingdom Theme Park

While a real-life expedition to the Himalayas might not be in the cards, Expedition Everest at Disney’s Animal Kingdom is just as thrilling. Get on the train and hold on tight as you weave through over and through Mount Everest, avoiding the dangerous Yeti lurking in the dark. There are some big drops sure to raise your heart rate as you race through the incredibly detailed faux Himalayan mountain range.

The Tower of Terror at Walt Disney World.

The Twilight Zone Tower of Terror

Where: Hollywood Studios

A cobwebbed Hollywood hotel from a bygone era, an elevator of questionable safety standards, and a concierge that’s a bit too aloof and very much uncanny. You are now entering the Tower of Terror. Drop into this ride, based on the world-renowned show The Twilight Zone. Disney Imagineers painstakingly recreated a “lost episode” of the show, creating an immersive experience for anyone who dares to take the plunge.

So, there you have it!  These are attractions I don’t dare to miss whenever I visit Disney World!  I’d love to hear which attractions make you happy when you visit this spectacular theme park.

Don’t forget to check out my favorite restaurants at Walt Disney World if you want some dining ideas.
