If there has ever been a year that I’ve looked forward to the holidays, it’s this year! I’m so excited about spending some time with my family. Thanksgiving and Christmas are special times for my family, especially with my son being away at college and my daughter heading to college real soon. It’s more important to me now than ever to make memories with my children and to continue creating traditions that they can carry with them as they become adults.

One of my favorite things to do during the holidays is to prepare special holiday treats with my daughter. During the holidays we love trying new treats and especially love adding a festive touch to our treats to make them extra special! When I saw Entenmann’s® Minis Crumb Cakes on Walmart.com, I instantly thought of an idea for a simple, yet delicious holiday treat! Our special holiday treat will be Entenmann’s® Minis Crumb Cake Parfaits!

Walmart.com makes shopping for Entenmann’s® Minis so easy!

My favorite place to shop for groceries for the holidays is Walmart.com! Walmart.com makes shopping for ingredients for holiday treats so simple and convenient. Being able to stand in my kitchen to see what I need and then have my daughter add it to our virtual shopping cart is so much fun. Walmart.com always has all of the ingredients we need to make all of our holiday favorites!

I love that Entenmann’s® Minis are available nationwide in a variety of flavors to satisfy all of my family’s cravings. I added a couple of the other Entenmann’s® Minis varieties to my virtual cart at Walmart.com so that everyone in my family could choose the treat they would enjoy most! I also love that these treats come individually-wrapped so that we can enjoy a soft, flavorful, delicious, and pre-portioned treat every time we open an Entenmann’s Minis!

Entenmann’s® Minis Crumb Cake Parfaits

What you’ll need:

• Entenmann’s® Mini Crumb Cakes (6 count), crumbled
• 1 lb. Fresh strawberries
• 1 pint fresh blueberries
• 1 can of whipped topping
• 1 small bowl
• 6 mason jars (or parfait glasses if you want to be fancy!)

Instructions:

• Wash strawberries and blueberries
• Cut strawberries into small pieces
• Mix blueberry and strawberry pieces together in a small bowl
• Layer bottom of each mason jar (or parfait glass) with cake crumbles
• Top with a thin layer of whipped topping
• Follow with a layer of strawberry/blueberry mixture
• Repeat layers (cake crumbles, whipped topping, berry mixture) until the jar is almost full (save room for toppings)
• Complete layers with whipped topping

Optional: Decorate parfaits with a Christmas cupcake topper for a holiday touch!
