Write Handwritten Letters

Hey, you knew this was going to be at the top of my suggestion list. To me, there is nothing more intimate than a handwritten love note. I still have (and read) love letters that I’ve had since high school! Occasionally, my husband (who was also my high school sweetheart) and I will sit and read the notes and laugh and our young love. Our teenagers get a kick out of them too!

But also, I still have notes that my mother wrote to me. She had such a beautiful way of expressing her love for me and I am thankful that I still have the letters to look back on. My mother passed away almost a year ago and these letters have really helped me as I continue to grieve.

So take some time and make or find a beautiful notecard or some pretty stationery and pour your heart out to your loved ones this Valentine’s Day. There are very few things that can compare to a heartfelt love note. Trust me!
