Six Alabama Bloggers You Should Be Following
I’ve been a fan of blogging for several years. In fact, I tried my hand at blogging several years ago before life got in the way, and I put it aside for other interests and responsibilities. What has been fun for me is reentering the blog world and seeing how much blogging has evolved over the years. Blogging has come a long way, and I’m so glad to be back on this journey. Before I launched my blog, I decided to check out some other blogs to get a sense of current trends so that I wouldn’t be entering the 2020 blog world with worn-out antics that would surely leave me on the less traveled road on the blog map!
I’m a huge fan of supporting others. I especially love supporting local greats. So, I began by venturing to Alabama bloggers for inspiration. I found some really amazing blogs and am so impressed by the talent that’s right here at home (and close by)! If you follow blogs, here are some Alabama bloggers that you should be following if you aren’t already.
WhatCherithinks by Cherith
If you’re reading this, you’re already on the right track! Thanks so much for visiting my blog! I’ll be posting weekly about family, self-care, travel, and food. You will want to subscribe so that you don’t miss a thing! I’m a wife, mom, and educator who enjoys writing about my journey to happiness and my quest to live my best life!
See Jane Write by Javacia
If you are a joyful, ambitious, noteworthy, and empowered woman, See Jane Write is the blog for you to follow. Whenever I need inspiration, encouragement, or support, I turn to See Jane Write because I know I will find all of these things and more on this blog! Javacia has been in the game for a long time, too! I followed her blog during my first attempt at blogging. I’ve even joined Javacia’s See Jane Write Collective, which you can learn more about by visiting her site.
Moms Bounce Back by Claudia
If you are a mom in the Birmingham area (or any area), you should visit Moms Bounce Back. I discovered this blog on the advice of a friend and I haven’t been disappointed! I think I connected with Claudia because we have a few things in common. We’re both educators, we’re both moms, we’re both bloggers, we’re both in the same sorority, and we’ve both recently become contributors for the Birmingham Mom Collective. I enjoy the doses of encouragement and inspiration that I find on Claudia’s blog. Check her out!
Savvy Apron by Sherry
Sherry is a DIY blogger. I always love to see the amazing projects that she can pull off without a professional’s assistance. Sherry’s room makeovers, craft projects, recipes, and crafts will leave you in awe! I spend hours perusing her blog to find inspiration.
The Sketchy Reader by Ricki
Do you like reading, but sometimes have a hard time deciding what to read? If so, then you will love The Sketchy Reader! Not only does Ricki love books, but she also loves flowers and art, which she shares on this blog as well. Make sure to check her out. She’s always sharing something great!
Nifty 50 & Fabulous by Regan
I’m not 50, but I couldn’t turn my eye away from this fabulous blog! I can relate to Regan on so many levels. She’s an Auburn alum. I’m an Auburn alum. She’s an empty nester. I’m (almost) an empty nester. She loves blogging. I love blogging. Make sure to check out this blog for fashion, beauty, and lifestyle info! It’s awesome.
