Easy Kool-Aid Pie Recipe
One thing I can thank this period of quarantine for is helping me to rediscover my love for cooking. This forced “down time” (and the inability to go to restaurants for an extended period of time) has given me some time to reacquaint myself with the kitchen.
I love desserts and I especially love quick and easy desserts that taste great. When I searched the internet for quick and easy desserts, Kool-Aid pie came up in the search. I rolled my eyes at first because I haven’t had Kool-Aid in several years, but when I saw the list of ingredients, I perked up a bit. I was sold at sweetened condensed milk! I mean, anything with sweetened condensed milk has to be delicious, right?
When I scanned the list of ingredients, I had everything I needed to make the pie in my cupboard. Everything except…guess what? Kool-Aid! I had to run out to the store to grab a few packs before I could begin making this recipe.
So, now that I have everything that I need, here we go!
Ingredients
This recipe only calls for four ingredients:
- 1 (0.13 ounce) package unsweetened fruit-flavored drink mix (such as Kool-Aid®)
- 1 (14 ounce) can sweetened condensed milk
- 1 (8 ounce) container frozen whipped topping, thawed
- 1 (9 inch) prepared graham cracker crust (I opted to use two packs of the single-serve prepared graham cracker crusts)

Directions
- Whisk fruit-flavored drink mix with sweetened condensed milk in a bowl until thoroughly combined and thick.
- Gently fold whipped topping into the mixture until light and fluffy.
- Spread filling into pie crust and refrigerate at least 1 hour before serving.

I garnished my pies with a little whipped topping and lemon zest just before serving. And it honestly took me longer to write this post than it did to make these tasty treats. So, if you are looking for a quick, easy, delicious dessert, you should definitely try this simple recipe.
