This is episode 14 and I am sitting with poet and author, Janea Harris. Janea and I first met several years ago when we worked together as consultants for an education solutions company. Janea uses creative writing to help children gain a better understanding of complex topics. As an educator, she learned that children often discover lasting life-long lessons in the books that they read. She has written two children’s books, but today we are focusing on her latest book, “Through the Window of Winter the Rabbit.” It is an uplifting story that touches on the various emotions that children are feeling during the pandemic and provides reassurance that this will come to an end.
