Looking for New York bagels but you live in the south? Head to SDK’s Cafe & Coffee in Visit Henry County, GA.

As much as I tried to debunk the myth that NY bagels taste better, I couldn’t. These things were absolutely something else. The outside had this perfect, glossy chew — not too hard, not too soft.

And the inside? Dense, doughy, and slightly chewy.

New York wins this one. I’m not even mad about it.

My first meal in Visit Henry County, GA was at 15th Street Pizza & Pub and it set the tone for dining in the area.

15th Street Pizza is a family-owned pizza spot, located in McDonough, known for its award-winning pizza and craft beer.

We tasted several different dishes. The one that stood out to me most was the pickle pizza. I know, I know, but hear me out. It was actually good.

Creamy garlic sauce, dill pickles, and dill sprinkled on top.

Tell me, would you try pickle pizza?
