Secret Birmingham at Kiwanis Club of Pell City

Local author Cherith Glover Fluker will be the guest speaker at the January meeting of the Kiwanis Club of Pell City on January 22, 2026, at 12:00 PM at City Market in Pell City.
Fluker will share insights from her new book, Secret Birmingham: A Guide to the Weird, Wonderful, and Obscure, exploring the hidden stories and unexpected places that shape the Magic City. She will also speak about the power of storytelling—how uncovering and sharing local stories helps preserve history, build community, and deepen our connection to place.
The meeting is open to members and guests and promises an engaging lunchtime conversation with one of Alabama’s most passionate storytellers.
